In the current home office work situation, it has became essential to monitor and manage the emotional state of colleagues.

With the help of the Pulse survey, you can easily track the motivation / mood / engagement of your team even on a daily basis.

Between 1 March 2020 and 30 June 2020, a total of 67,813 responses were received from 253 teams. The total benchmark of responses on a scale of 1 to 6 was 4.46. Managers typically sent the survey to their teams once a day, using questions such as:

MENTal toughness

Mental toughness is a moderately plastic personality trait which determines in large part how individuals respond mentally to

  • stress, pressure,
  • opportunity and challenge.

Research shows that mental toughness scores correlate closely with performance; well-being; positive behaviour and aspirations. It has a significant impact on most key outcomes in the world of work. It applies to leaders and staff, and has universal benefits.

We are using MTQ tests to measure Mental Toughness as anAQR International partner. The MTQ Plus test gives you a picture about how you are handling the following 4 dimensions:

  • Commitment
  • Challenge
  • Confidence

Based on research we can say that the mentally tough people are more likely to be successful than the mentally sensitives peers but it does not mean that

  • all the mentally tough people are successful
  • the mentally sensitive people can not be successful.

Managerial Competence Test

WE IDENTIFIED 90 FEATURES OF SUCCESSFUL MANAGERS IN OUR RESEARCH. THESE WERE GROUPED INTO THE FOLLOWING 15 COMPETENCES:

Handling difficult situations, Systems thinking, Problem solving, Organising, Benchmarking, Managing change, Handling people issues, Co-operation, Influencing, Leadership, Team building, Developing people, Time management, Clear communication, EQ.

These competences were structured by these 2 dimensions:

  • TASK or PEOPLE FOCUS
  • SITUATION or PROCESS FOCUS
  • And there are some competences with GENARAL relevance

The results were converted to a T-Scale (mean: 50 and deviation: 10). What does it mean for understanding the results?

  • Below 40: Basic level – 1/6 of the sample
  • 40-50: Middle level – 1/3 of the sample
  • 51-60: Good level – 1/3 of the sample
  • Above 60: Excellent level – 1/6 of the sample

Employee Competence Test

Non-managerial version of our managerial competence test.

To scale to examine the validity of answers:
Well being:
Bellow 40 - the answers too critical,
Above 60 – the answeres are too optimistic
Good impression:
Above 60 – the results can be overoptimistic

The sales competence test measures how the evaluated person relates to certain stages of the sales process.
